This is my third order for .223 gas checks, I have used about 300 from this order and have found 6 or 8 malformed checks. This is the first time I have found any bad checks.
Reply: Okay, I'll send you some replacements. Gator is usually very good at quality control, but I have been culling out some lately. I'll take a closer look at the restock we just got in.

I'm a long time user of Hornady gas checks. The price difference between Gator checks and the Hornady checks drew me in. I find the Gator checks to be sized perfectly for a good snap on fit. When run thru a sizer they crimp on firmly. Shipping was ultra quick - they were packed very well and arrived from Sage outdoors in fine condition. 2,000 will hold me a while, but when I need more I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

If I don't run these through my Lee .225 Push-Through sizer base first, the check comes out with a deformed base every time. I tried lubing first and going slower, they just seem too large. Going base first works nicely, but it's a lot slower.
