   Have used Sage's checks for some time now, currently use the 22, 6mm 6.5 mm, 7mm and 30 caliber checks without any issues. Would recommend wholeheartedly.

   First time using Sages Outdoors .30 caliber gas checks. Found they were a little shorter than the Hornady gas check I was using, however, the length of the Sages .30 caliber gas checks made no difference in the condition of the bore of my Mossberg .30-30 after two range sessions, and the price is right. Incidentally, I cast bullets in a Lyman #311041 double cavity and a single cavity mould., with a velocity in the 1400 fps to 1450 fps range. Outstanding 5 Star product. You bet, and when I need more .30 gas checks - I will order from Sages Ourdoors..

   Myself and my shooting buddies have fired thousands of these gas checks, and they are outstanding.
   These are ever bit as good as the Lyman or Hornady check at a lower price.

5. Comparison with hornady

   I started using these copper gas checks about six years ago with 220 grain bullets in my 30/40 Krag rifles and 200 grain bullets in my 35 Remington both with velocities of about 1850 fps. To my knowledge I have never had a gas check seperate in flight and I find these to crimp better than Hornadys and seat more easily.

6. Used on 30 cal cast bullets

   Gas checks fit well and crimped on easily. I used them on 160 gr .312 Lee bullets for 7.62 x39.

   I have used these gas checks,(GATOR CHECKS) for several years. This product is well made, fit cast bullets well and help prevent gas cutting of lead bullets shot at velocities exceeding 1600 fps. Al around good product at a good price from a darn good company.
