    I see no difference between Gator's and Hornady's gas checks. At this price, I check every bullet now.

    My groups tighten up and the barrel stayed clean. I was shooting soft lead 38 special loads that I had powder coated but wanted to be sure the barrel would lead up. Shot one set just powder coated and it was clean but then I shot a set of powder coated AND gas checked and the group was 1/2 the size. A+

25. Better fit

    These check fit my RCBS 9MM 124grain cast bullets way better than the Hornady checks I usually have used and they did not require annealing to get them on the bullet shank.

26. Gator checks can’t be beat

    Precision made and snap nicely in place. Make flat even base for gases to push bullet out the bore evenly for accurate bullet placement. Definitely a game changer for cast bullet users.

    I have used these on .357 Magnum cast bullets with no leading even at 1500 fps.
    
    I have also used these to make my own .357 shot cartridges for pests and poisonous snakes that we have on our Texas ranch. Very effective.
    
    Sage's has the best prices as well.
