 Product Description

These .41 copper Gator Checks are the Lyman style with a shank size of .397, its a thin crimp on gas check.

 The gas checks are sold in resealable clear plastic bags. 

Most orders ship in one business day Monday - Friday.

 Sold in 3 quantities: 250 for $12.75, 500 for $24.50 and 1000 for $47.00.

 

 
Please Note: There are three different gas checks for the .41 caliber molds, the .41 BSS is also used on the .40 bullets.
 
#1 .41 Lyman - the shank size is .397 Used on .41 caliber Lyman molds and a few custom molds.
 
#2 .416 Rifle - the shank size is .393. These fit on .41 caliber RCBS, Saeco and many other "Rifle" style shanks.
 
#3 .41 BSS - the shank size is .379. These are an "improved .41 BSS"  for .40 and .41 BSS molds used by custom mold makers. 
 
NOTE: The shank diameters may vary by one or two thousandths from the diameters listed above.

    I use a Lyman 410610-GC mold that I cast for use in my .41 Ruger 3 screw .41 Magnum and Henry 41 Mag Rifle. The Sage Gator gas checks for a Lyman mold worked as advertised. Very well.

    Worked really well with the Lee .410 cal bullet sizer I utilized...*simply a heads up, make sure that the cast bullets that you add these gas checks to have a bevel at the base of the bullet itself, not just a square/flat base.

    Extremely great service from the Sage team as well...great product and service...what else can one ask...

    I have a .41 caliber custom mold made for Lyman gas checks. It a rifle bullet for a .40 caliber rifle, I shoot it in three different 40-65 rifles. Since Lyman quit making that size, I have had a difficult time finding checks
    to fit bullets from this mold. These work and are very good quality.
