this gas checks fit nicely on my NOE mold for my 1903 MS. also bought the other gas checks offered on this site for the 6.5 and they also fit well. much more affordable than the out of stock everywhere "name brand" gas checks!

Checks very hard to get onto bullet base. Ordered chamferring tool from N.O.E. MOLDS.
Hopefully, this will correct issue. If not, back to Hornady...

Tried these because there was a shortage of the “other” gas checks. The Gator checks work better and seat easier, no shaved lead or crushed bases like the other guys. I even pulled the bullets on some loads to examine, the gas checks held tight. Price was good too!

Normally I use Hornady brand, but these were suggested as a less expensive alternative.
1) They go on same as Hornady.
2) Same accuracy and point of impact as Hornady.
3) $13 cheaper per 1000 than Hornady.
4) Slightly easier to install on the bullet base than Hornady, not greatly easier, but less ruined gas checks.
As long as they are made, I'll buy these from now on!

These gas checks not only fit and go on my bullets better than a certain name brand but they cost less and have contributed to my group size going from 4 inches to 1.250 and less at 100 yds. Have not had any come off the bullet that I Can tell of and I think they help eliminate leading even at 1850fps.Will try them at higher velocities next year as i,m too old to shoot in the snow!!

Not a definitive test, but 3 shots in one ragged hole at 50Yds. using Noe 140 gr. bullet at 17 Bhn, Imr 4227,while sighting in a new scope. The gas check had a very good crimp on bullet and no leading experienced using a Savage Axis 2 rifle. Will test more at a later time at 100 yds and different powders. Pleased!

Installed them with a lubber-sizer no problems, just waiting for the weather to cooperate so I can fire test them but don't expect any problems.

The new style which is taller that the regular ones stay on so much better.
Received samples of both for my 6.5 Creedmoor Lyman 140 mold and the copper and the aluminum both fix great so I ordered a larger quantity.
Keep up the good work of making such a fine product, will order more.
Cannot wait to get the others so I can start loading and shooting

oh I forgot to mention, VERY FAST SHIP...…...

the new style gas check for my Lyman 6.5 caliber Creedmoor works wonderful. The taller gas check crimps on solid and will not come off.
I can not wait for my larger supply to come to start loading some of my powder coated bullets up.
Keep up the good work and thank you so much for the samples to try.
I got both some of the copper and aluminum. Ken from Arkansas

I've used Lyman and Hornady checks for a very long time they can be a little hit and miss. switched to sage gas checks a few years back in a bunch of different calibers they are by far the best I have used recently for an old Vetterli 6.5 had to pull a few bullets and the gas check was still on the bullets I pulled. amazing will buy more
